Abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAAs) are common among older individuals. Currently, there are several surgical treatment options available for AAA, but there is no proven non-surgical treatment. Research has shown that physical inactivity may be linked to the development of AAAs. The purpose of this study is to gather information on AAA risk factors and to evaluate the effectiveness of an exercise program at preventing the growth of small AAAs in older individuals.

There are two opportunities for participation in this study. The first part of the study will assess your lifetime physical activity and health history. The second part of the study focuses on exercise therapy. If you are eligible and choose to enroll, you will be randomized to either the exercise group or the control group.
